In most countries, Mother's Day falls in May. In Luxembourg, it's a little different, here we celebrate every 2nd Sunday of June the day in honor of motherhood.

Did you know that Mother's Day originated in the United States? In 1914, Mother's Day was officially celebrated as a national holiday for the first time in the United States.

From 1917, the feast in honor of the mother spread to Europe and was first celebrated in Switzerland until, gradually, around 1923, Mother's Day found harmony in Germany and shortly afterwards in Luxembourg.

On Sunday June 13, it's time again for the "Et ass Mammendag" ❤ in Luxembourg.

Flowers, chocolates, objects made by children are the usual attentions. What will you choose?

You want it to be flowers? Here is my personal advice:
